Low-scent flowers are the safer choice for a patient sharing a room. Orchids, roses, lisianthus and chrysanthemums travel well and won't overwhelm a small space. We'll skip the lilies unless you ask for them.

We deliver around the clock. Hospital visiting hours are narrow and often in the evening, so you can time a delivery to arrive when someone's actually there to receive it.

When flowers aren't allowed

Fruit baskets, chocolate boxes, dates trays and small plants all work where flowers don't. Delivered to the ward, the reception, or the family home instead.

Sending flowers to Dubai Hospital or Al Baraha Hospital

A few minutes of preparation avoids a delivery that gets turned away at reception.

What we need from you:

  • The patient's full name as it appears on their admission — reception won't match a partial name
  • The hospital name, ward and room or bed number if you have it
  • A UAE mobile number — ideally for a family member present at the hospital rather than the patient, who may not have their phone
  • Any restrictions you already know about, in the notes field at checkout

Before you order, check the ward's policy. Most general wards accept flowers. Intensive care units almost never do. Some maternity and oncology wards restrict them, and policies vary between hospitals and even between wards. A quick call to the ward saves a wasted delivery.

What to choose:

  • Low-scent flowers — orchids, roses, lisianthus, chrysanthemums. Strong fragrance is unpleasant in a shared room and can bother patients with breathing difficulties.
  • Smaller arrangements — bedside space is limited. A large bouquet is a problem, not a gift.
  • Vase arrangements over wrapped bouquets — nobody on a ward wants to hunt for a vase.
  • Skip lilies unless you know they're welcome. Strongly scented, and the pollen stains.

New baby at Dubai Hospital

Dubai Hospital handles a large number of births, and new-baby gifts are among the most common things we deliver in Al Baraha.
